Welcome
I would like to offer a warm welcome to all of the prospective parents/carers of children starting school for the first time in September 2024.
Here at Woolavington, our staff really enjoy welcoming new faces and understand that parents value the opportunity to visit schools in order to make informed choices about the first step in their child’s educational journey. This year we are able to offer stay and play sessions for prospective new parents. Please phone the school office or email office@woolavingtonprimaryschool.org.uk to book your place as soon as possible.

Virtual Tours
Thanks to Joseph Casson Estate Agency for producing a virtual tour of our school. We have captured the reception classroom and outdoor areas to give our new families an insight into fantastic grounds and facilities we have to offer. Below our virtual tour you will find a video of one of our Inspired Lives sports days, which captures the buzz and ethos of our school. We hope that both videos capture life at Woolavington for new families to see.
In addition, our prospectus is available to view online, a copy of which can be found below or telephone the school for one to be posted to you.

Application Deadline
Primary Admissions – The important dates
Please apply using the online application form. This goes live for primary phase applications on 25 September 2023.
The closing date for starting school applications is 15 January 2024.
If you applied online by 15 January 2024, you will receive an email with the outcome of your application on 16 April 2024. If you applied using a paper application form your outcome will be sent out by second class post on 16 April 2024.
Late applications must be received by 3rd May 2024. Applications received after 3 May 2024 will be processed in strict date order of receipt and outcomes sent out after 7 June 2024. These will be sent by second-class post.
Closing date for receipt of appeal applications from parents who were notified of their outcome on 16 April 2024 – 15th May 2024
